Would you like to hone your green thumb? Join Bedford Arbor Resources Committee for a tree planting demonstration at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29 (the day after Arbor Day) at Shawsheen Cemetery across from the maintenance garage. This is open to all Bedford residents of any age.
NOTE: Shawsheen Cemetery is a beautiful park-like setting, but it is primarily a place of quiet reflection and private grieving for many Bedford families. Please honor the privacy of those families and help to cultivate that peaceful, respectful atmosphere in the cemetery.
If you have kids coming to the tree planting, it might be appropriate to discuss the need for quiet with them beforehand. In the same spirit, please leave your canine family members at home.
