More Than 130 Families at the Annual BFC Egg Hunt

Submitted by Bedford Family Connection

The skies cleared just in time for the Annual Bedford Family Connection Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday. This event has had a tumultuous time during past few years with snow (2019), pandemic (2020 and 2021), and even hail and lightning (2022). This year, there was quite a muddy field, but as they say, April showers bring May flowers!

More than 130 families came out with their kids in tow. It was a sold-out event with 200 children running through the Davis School fields collecting some of the 4,000 eggs Bedford Family Connection laid out.

Bedford Family Connection thanks its volunteers, from the littlest ones who worked hard drying off the playground, to Callahan’s Karate and Bedford High School students, to the BFC member volunteers and planning committee, all the way to the lovely Bunny – Sheena Santos of Barrett Sotheby’s Realty.

A large donation of diapers was successfully gathered for The Wish Project, thanks to residents’ generous contributions. There will be many happy parents in need benefiting from these donations.

It was a wonderful day and everyone is looking forward to warm weather and many playdates ahead.

The next big event for Bedford Family Connection will be its annual New Mom’s Brunch. Do you know any families in Bedford who have had babies from April 2022 to this month? Bedford Family Connection is here to help.
