Coming to Bedford this Sunday – Live Performance of Your Favorite Cartoon Tunes

Local artists Cynthia Mork, Ben Sears, and Brad Conner are noted for their exploration of American Classics – beloved songs from musicals of the 1920s and onward.

Now they will be on stage at First Parish in Bedford on Sunday, April 16 at 3 p.m. with music from cartoons and animated films, all guaranteed to recall fond memories of Saturday morning cartoons and The Wonderful World of Disney.

Remember Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Woody Woodpecker, The Flintstones, and of course Disney Songs?  There will even be a set of Christmastime favorites. Songs include “Forty-Second Street”, “Jeepers Creepers” “You Go to My Head”, “Shuffle Off to Buffalo”, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf”, “Cruella De Vil”, “Let it Go” and “Hakuna Matata” to name a few.

Conner, Mork, and Sears will be joined by some of the Boston area’s best performers, including Sarah Kornfeld, Michella Vachon, Caryn May, Wes Hunter, and Ethan Sagin,  with Steve Sussman on piano.

Conner invites everyone to come and relive those great memories when every weekend started with Saturday morning cartoons and ended on Sunday Night with “The Wonderful World of Disney.”

And in the immortal words of the end of those Merrie Melodies cartoons, “That’s all folks!”

Tickets are $25 and $20 for seniors/students and will be available at the door.

First Parish is wheelchair accessible.
