Bedford TV 48 Hour Film Project Meeting Tonight!

Submitted by BedfordTV

BedfordTV is excited to be participating in the 48 Hour Film Project for the first time this year. Bedford TV executive director Brian Hebert said, “This project is always a lot of fun. When you have kids, adults and senior citizens all working together to create a fun and original video you always come out with something original and exciting.”

The 48 Hour Film Project is just as it sounds. Teams from around Boston write, shoot, film and edit a complete short film in just 48 hours. The short films are premeired on the big screen as teams compete against other filmmakers from around the area for the grand prize opportunity of screening the film at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner

BedfordTV is looking for volunteers to join the project. No experience is necessary and there is no cost to participate, only the ability to commit to being available the weekend of May 5 – May 7.

There will be an initial meeting of interested citizens tonight, Thursday April 6 to learn more about the project and ask questions.

The public is encouraged and invited to attend the meeting.
