Edward Jones of Bedford celebrated their new office at 110 The Great Rd. with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 6, hosted by the Bedford Chamber of Commerce. The new office is in the historic Domine Manse building (Bedford Explained – Domine Manse – The Bedford Citizen – Oct 23, 2018).
The move is part of the Edward Jones office expansion with Glen Duffy, AAMS, joining the team with Britton Wilson.
Wilson added, “We are so pleased to continue to serve the greater Bedford area with expanded capacity and offices. Being in this historic building just down from our previous location ensures continuity and that we can continue to offer the personalized investments and financial planning that Edward Jones and its support and resources behind us have always represented.”
Representatives from various Chamber of Commerce members attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. This was the first such event put on by the Bedford Chamber of Commerce since the Covid-19 pandemic back in March 2020. Rob Miner, the new director said, “It was great to see everyone in person.”
The Chamber is getting back to work now that things are opening up again. Miner reported they had a meet and greet lunch and networking event for Women in Bedford at the end of March. They also will be hosting an upcoming after-hours get together from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17 at Red Heat Tavern. Plans are also in the works, details to come, for the popular Flavors of Bedford as well as a golf outing. The Chamber will again be sponsoring the Prom Stroll on Thursday, May 25 – always a highlight of the Bedford High School year.
