Superintendent’s Update – No School, March 14

A message from Superintendent Philip Conrad sent at 5:32 am on Tuesday, March 14.

Due to the change in the forecast for snow earlier in the day and difficult travel throughout the day on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Bedford Public Schools will be closed. This means that all school and district offices will be closed. All school events and activities including athletics, practices, and games, performing arts, rehearsals, and performances, are postponed.

Please note that the Bedford School Committee will not meet at METCO HQ in Nubian Square as planned. Instead, they will meet via remote participation only. A link to the meeting is on our website. We will reschedule our meeting at METCO HQ for later in the school year.

We hope to reopen schools on time on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. That decision will be made later and you will be informed if school is delayed or closed at a later time.

All twelve-month employees should plan to work remotely.

Please stay safe during the snowstorm.
