Learn How to Avoid Being Scammed

“Wow, that sounds like a great deal!” But is it a great deal that is too great to be real?

Everyone is invited at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 13 to learn about some of the ways scammers try to get your money. “How to Avoid a Scam” takes place at the COA in the Bedford Community Center, 12 Mudge Way.

Co-sponsored by the FBCOA and the Bedford COA, a representative from the Cambridge Savings Bank will walk through ways scammers try to trick, coerce, and convince people to believe them. This talk will help people to arm themselves with essential knowledge to avoid losing money.

Sign up starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 1. Call the Bedford COA at 781-275-6825 to register.
