Did You Know? COA Fix-it Shop

March 23, 2023

Welcome to our series “Did You Know?” The idea is to highlight some of the numerous resources available here in town. Many of them are free.

Next up: If it’s Broke – Fix It!!

Did you know that the Friends of the COA has a fix-it-shop? It’s open to the public.

They can replace watch batteries, get clocks working, rewire lamps. Fix small appliances, such as coffee makers, blenders, toasters, fans, and humidifiers. Unstick stubborn switches, such as on a microwave door. Sharpen knives, scissors, and garden clippers. Re-glue tables, chairs, and ceramic items. Restore sound and light to children’s toys. Plus more! Minimum charge $3.

Open Tuesdays and Wednesdays
9 a.m. to noon, all year round.
Town Center (yellow building behind Town Hall).

Here’s a story we ran back in 2018:
