The future is as bright as it can be for Bedford High School girls’ basketball.
The John Glenn Middle School girls’ basketball team last week capped an undefeated season with a thrilling 37-35 victory over a tough opponent, Blanchard Middle School of Westford.
That win made it official: a perfect season with a record of 10-0.
“They have worked incredibly hard and have been dedicated to getting better every day during the season,” declared Coach Greg Hinz. “It was a memorable year and one that will be hard to duplicate.”
He cited several key performers who were consistent throughout the season: Ashley Cohen, Isla Sheridan, Annabelle Davis, and Georgia Stathakis.
“They helped fuel the fire for this team, but the whole team was invested in hard work and determination and very coachable,” Hinz testified.
