Letter to the Editor: Let’s Re-elect Malone and Elect McGinley on March 11

-Submitted by Leah Devereaux

I am writing to express my support for Bopha Malone’s re-election to the Select Board and Sarah McGinley’s candidacy for the School Committee. While both races are uncontested, it is important that we do not take for granted the opportunity to vote and have our voices heard.

One of the reasons I am supporting Bopha Malone is her commitment to accessibility and inclusion in our community. Bopha has a wealth of experience and perspective to bring to the board. Her platform highlights her vision for a more inclusive and sustainable Bedford, which is essential for a thriving community.

Similarly, Sarah McGinley’s platform prioritizes inclusion in our schools. As a mother of three children attending Bedford public schools, Sarah is vested in the quality of education our children receive. Her commitment to academic excellence makes her a perfect fit for our School Committee. I believe she will make decisions that prioritize the success of all our students.

In a small town like Bedford, our votes carry significant weight. It is crucial that we exercise our right to vote in every election. I urge all eligible voters to participate in the upcoming election on March 11, whether by voting early or mailing in their ballots. Let us come together and support the candidates who will work tirelessly to make Bedford a more inclusive and accessible community!
