The Bedford Rec Department released the Spring & Summer Adult brochure, registration opens on March 6.

The Bedford Recreation Department announces its spring and summer “Be Creative” offerings for adults. 

Among the classes being offered is a “Gel Print Collage Workshop” by Taline Saatijan, which is co-sponsored by the Bedford Art and Crafts Society.

There is also “Building Books” with Sarah Scoville as well as “Non-Fiction Film Making” with Brian Hebert and Michael Russillo from Bedford TV.

Registration for all spring/adult and youth programs opens Monday, March 6 at 8 p.m.

Local artist Maria Green had her copper etching “A Maine Moment” accepted into the Concord Arts Members Juried 2: Collage, Crafts, Drawing, Graphics, Mixed Media, Photography, Print Making 2023 show.  

The reception for the show will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23. The juror for this show was Kelley Lehr, co-owner and director along with her partner, John Danos of Greenhut Galleries and Cove Street Arts in Portland, Maine. 

This exhibit continues to Thursday, March 23. The show can be seen at Concord Arts, 37 Lexington St. in Concord from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
