Town Now Accepting Bids for Middlesex Turnpike Gravity Sewer Upgrade

The Select Board will receive sealed bids for Middlesex Turnpike gravity sewer upgrades at the office of the Department of Public Works until 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 9. The bids will be publicly opened at that time and read aloud.

No faxed or email bids shall be accepted. No conditional bids shall be accepted. No late bids shall be accepted.

The scope of work consists of replacement of 47-linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC gravity sewer with 12-inch diameter PVC gravity sewer by open cut excavation; replacement of 1,098 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC gravity sewers with 12-inch diameter (IPS) HDPE DR-17 gravity sewers by pipe bursting; and other related tasks in the town.

Contract documents may be examined and/or obtained, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 25 by registering online to download bid documents at https://www.bedfordma.gov/bids.aspx. (Click to select the appropriate bid.)

Bidders requesting documents must register with valid information. Company name, address, and contact information (phone and email) are required in the registration form.
