January 11, 2023

The Town of Bedford, in coordination with Middlesex Community College and the Massachusetts Innovation Network, has scheduled a free seminar titled, “How to Start and Operate a Small Business.”

The event is planned from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Jan. 19 in Café East in the Campus Center (Building 8) at Middlesex Community College, 591 Springs Rd. (doors open at 8:30 a.m.). Reservations may be made through www.massinnov.org/event-details/small-business-workshop.

Eleven small business experts will cover topics from business planning, business types and cash flow to budgeting, financing, marketing, and permits. Materials and resource information for small business support will be available.

Organizers said the program will address issues ranging from expanding from home employment to commercial space to expanding a part-time business to developing a business idea.
