Police are investigating a break-in at a house on Sweeney Ridge Road.
The incident was reported to authorities via emergency call on Wednesday just before 9 p.m., according to police reports.
Detective Lt. Scott Jones said Friday that no one was home at the time of the break-in. Some valuable items were reported missing, he reported.
Jones said anyone who may have seen something that could help with the investigation should contact the Bedford Police at 781-275-1111.
He added that officers have been canvassing the neighborhood seeking information that could be useful. The area will be receiving extra patrols, he added.
