An Obituary: Elizabeth Ann Lussier

Elizabeth Ann Lussier (Russo), 59, of Leominster and formerly of Bedford, passed away on Dec. 1, 2022.

Even from a young age, Elizabeth faced adversity with strength, love, and poise. She battled kidney nephritis for many years as a child until she was cured as a young adult.

She enjoyed riding horses, swimming in the backyard pool, and playing the piano. She was also an active member of the Girl Scouts in her mother’s troop. With her mom, Elizabeth also raised thousands of dollars for the National Kidney Foundation through backyard plays, block parties, and more. As a young adult, she was also recognized for her work as a candy striper at the New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn.

Elizabeth graduated from Bedford High School in 1981 and went on to study at Bentley College (now Bentley University). She graduated with a degree in accounting in 1985. She established a successful career as an independent bookkeeper.

In 1994, Elizabeth married Craig Lussier and they set their roots down, building a home in Leominster. Over the next five years, Elizabeth became the mom of Brenton, Tyler, and Connor.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael Parish, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Private burial at Shawsheen Cemetery following the Mass.
