2023 – What’s Bedford Thinking, are you Optimistic?

December 22, 2022

2022 is almost a wrap. It began with a sense of optimism in the world. Covid was still everywhere but was a little less scary with vaccines and therapeutics. Beyond the pandemic there were several scary things to worry about. War in Europe, and the discussion as to whether Russia might use nuclear weapons. Our politics, after a relatively quiet 2021, were back to being combative. Inflation caused major pain and certainly dominated the news. Add to that a scary Flu season with RSV being added to our vocabulary. The climate made sure that it can’t be ignored with fires and hurricanes.  Locally there were many contentious issues that Bedford dealt with in 2022. With all that, one has a feeling that it could have been worse.
