NewsMatch is Underway

November 4, 2022

At The Bedford Citizen, we take a lot of joy and commitment in presenting public service journalism that you can trust. We exist because you deserve to have a go-to source for the news that matters the most to you.
Our staff and many volunteers work hard to serve all the people of Bedford with unbiased reporting on the important issues you need to know about and to be a public forum where people can share ideas and views. We are also a place where community groups, churches and local charitable organizations can reach Bedford people to get the word out as to what they are doing.
This essential work would not be possible without the support of readers like you.
That’s why we’re excited to share that we have an opportunity to make your donation go even further this year through NewsMatch, a collaborative fundraising movement to support independent, public service journalism like ours.

Here’s how it works:
Now through Dec. 31, NewsMatch will match your new monthly donation 12 times or double your one-time gift, all up to $1,000. That means that through NewsMatch, thanks to Werfen, Suzanne & Company and The Bedford Citizen’s Board of Directors, we can earn up to $35,000. That level of fundraising will help us close out 2022 strong and help us to make The Citizen even better in 2023.
For all the people of Bedford, if you believe in the work we’re doing, will you give today to double the impact of your donation in helping The Bedford Citizen?
We give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who is supporting us in our mission.
