It must be close to Halloween – the Bedford Chamber of Commerce’s 12^th annual Trunk or Treat event is planned for Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the parking area near Whole Foods Market, 170 The Great Road.

“Over 20 Chamber members will be greeting all with treats in a safe outdoor venue,” said Executive Director Peter Bagley.

The Chamber members – some dressed for the occasion – will bring their cars and park with the trunks facing the open area, he explained. “Many have tables, with great decorations,” Bagley said. “Children go from trunk to trunk for candy and giveaways, and are entertained by strolling costumed actors.”

The Bedford Police and Fire departments will also be represented, he added.
