The job of state representative is to ensure that the interests of constituents are promoted and protected within the complex bureaucracy of state government. To be effective, a state representative has to both understand those interests and know how to use the levers of state government. For the past decade, Bedford has been lucky to have State Rep. Ken Gordon speaking for us on Beacon Hill.
Ken is a long-time Bedford resident with deep roots in our community, having served on town boards, coached, volunteered, and had a child in the school system. Building off that foundation, he brings to his role his experience as a legislator and attorney, his strong work ethic and his ability to collaborate. Ken is responsive, attentive to his constituents and prioritizes results. He has a roll-up-his-sleeves approach to his position, and has been extremely effective moving the state forward on issues important to his district and the Commonwealth.
I will be voting for Ken Gordon in the Sept. 6 democratic primary for state representative to help ensure that his experience, commitment and passion for our community continue working for Bedford in the state legislature.
