Bedford’s Cultural District Partnership has arranged a panoply of community activities throughout the District for Saturday’s celebration. Visitors can expect music and art; neighbors and friends; history and diversity, and most of all, FUN.
The day will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the library at 10 am, then move to Bedford Common and the Cultural District itself, before winding down at 2 pm.

Musical Performances
First Parish, in the Sanctuary ~ Please use the accessible Elm Street entrance
- 10 am ~ Crescendo Suzuki Violin Studio performance of “Spring” and “Summer” from Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” accompanied by a slideshow of students’ artwork that illustrates the poetry associated with the music
Depot Park, in front of the Freight House
- 11:30 am ~ Crescendo Suzuki Violin Studio, Suzuki violin repertoire, pieces by Charlotte Louise Woodbridge, Kenneth Kafui, Korean folk tune
Bedford Common, on the lawn in front of First Parish
- 11 am ~ Elise Harfield and her band
- 12 pm ~ Neil Dale, singer and acoustic guitar
- 1 pm ~ Dean Groves, singer-songwriter
