It was another exciting ‘come from behind’ win for the 3/4 Boys lacrosse team while on the road on Sunday. At the end of the first quarter, each team held the other team to zero points.

There were some excellent fast breaks from newcomers Ben Guerino and Mikey Pitchel and both teams scored to end the half in a tie. Joey Gould had some strong face-off wins, too. However, Tyngsboro started to break away and was up by 5 points at the end of the third quarter. But, things started to click with the Bedford players in the 4th quarter.

With Colton O’Connor’s strong groundball skills, the Bucs were able to regain lost possessions. Noah Maloney and Alex Santos each scored their first goal, and Grayson Kime had the game-tying goal. It was 8-8 with only 4 minutes left in the game.

Middies Max Robinson and Charlie Boglarski were on fire together. Max Robinson was in beast mode and won 5 straight face-offs. He ran down the field and passed the ball to one of his teammates, who would shoot and score. This happened 5 consecutive times, giving Bedford the lead. Max ended the game with 1 goal and 5 assists. Charlie Boglarski ended the game with 7 goals. The win was a collective effort made by everyone on the team.

Final Score Bedford 11 – Tyngsboro 8
