After Covid caused the cancelation of the Friends of the Bedford Free Public Library’s December book sale, the Friends are preparing for a spring sale, beginning on Thursday, April 21, continuing through Sunday, April 24.
Inventory of donated books is high, and the Friends are sure buyers will discover many “finds”—everything from art books to mysteries to children’s books.
It’s a revolving cycle: as the inventory is cleared, the Friends are able to accept more donations.
The “bookies,” the tireless volunteers who sort, tag, price, and set up the sale are hard at work now getting ready for this long-awaited weekend.
The sale dates are
- April 21 — Thursday — 6:30-8:30 p.m. / Members-Only Sale
- April 22 — Friday – 1 to 5 p.m. / Public
- April 23 — Saturday – 10 to 4 p.m. / Public
- April 24 — Sunday — 1 to 4 p.m./Public
