Gas prices last week reached $4.49 a gallon around Bedford. The price of gas has many factors that go into the price at the pump; still, all experts agree that sanctions against Russian oil imports will increase prices here. That is true even though we buy little oil directly from Russia. Even with that knowledge consumers in the US overwhelmingly support such sanctions.
