The Bedford 6th grade boys Metrowest Blue D3 travel basketball team closed out an amazing season Sunday, winning 43 -12 at Lexington. The team was moved up to the D2 playoff bracket after their 12-0 undefeated season.

Often smaller in size, but definitely not in heart or hustle, the team moves on to the playoffs this weekend against (11-1) Waltham. A season of strong shooters and defensive pressure made this undefeated team a pleasure to watch every week. The team chemistry outshines their wins, with the boys showing great sportsmanship and supporting each other on and off the court.

The parents would like to thank the amazing coaches Calvin and Dave, as well as our wonderful referees and town support from the Bedford Travel Basketball Committee and Facilities custodial staff for an enthusiastic and exciting season!

Body Language. The 6th grader who sends a not too subtle message describing his appreciation for the team’s achievement, or perhaps only his role in it.
