Bedford’s Eighth Grade boys win thriller against Winchester
Submitted by Coach Brian Comeau
With Bedford trailing 19-18 with ten seconds remaining, Mattias Lundgren took a pass from point guard Brendan Finnerty on the low block, backed his man in, and provided the winner as time expired with a spinning bank shot. Bedford pulled out the 20-19 victory and celebrated as a team on the court. Tyler Waldron and Budom Ezeani provided tough defense and rebounding to keep Bedford in the game before Lundgren’s heroics.
FINAL SCORE
- Bedford 20 – Winchester 19
