The Bedford Chapter of Mothers Out Front thanks Senator Mike Barrett and Representative Ken Gordon for their persistent commitment to bold climate action.
As Co-Chair of the committees that oversaw the development of the latest climate bill, the Next Generation Roadmap for Massachusetts Climate Policy, Senator Barrett worked tirelessly for months to resolve differences between the House and Senate bills and then between the Legislature’s vision and the Governor’s concerns. On March 26 we witnessed the successful conclusion of this effort!
We are also grateful to Representative Ken Gordon. His work was not in the spotlight, but he has consistently sponsored strong climate action. Without the steady support of legislators like him, there would have been no victory, no roadmap to a future that promises to be cleaner, greener, and more just than the road just traveled.
