COVID-19 Homebound Vaccination Opportunity

The Town of Bedford Health Department is pleased to announce it is partnering with the Massachusetts State In-Home Vaccination Program to offer at-home COVID-19 vaccination for Bedford residents who are medically homebound and would otherwise not be able to access vaccination. Any Bedford resident who is homebound and within the current phase of eligibility for vaccination can register to be considered for an in-home vaccination.

Bedford Health Department has been informed by the state that they will be provided vaccine for homebound Bedford residents in the coming weeks. The Health Department will be responsible for screening residents for eligibility, scheduling, vaccine administration, and reporting.

The Town of Bedford will initiate this program by screening residents who may be eligible for future in-home vaccination. Pre-screened, eligible residents will be placed on a wait-list and contacted once vaccine is made available to the town by the state.

If you would like to be screened for placement on the wait-list, you or your caregiver can call the Bedford Health Department at 781-275-6507.

Please note, if you are deemed eligible for in-home vaccination, it may take several weeks for an at-home appointment to be made.
