Bus Service to Replace Train Travel between Concord and Alewife, from March 1 to April 30

Shuttles will replace rail service on the Fitchburg Line, Mondays—Fridays. (Weekend service ended on January 23.)

The change to buses will enable the installation of a Positive Rail Control system to assure safer service on the line.

Scheduled trains will be replaced by shuttle service at all stops between Alewife and Littleton, except Hastings and Silver Hill. Express service will serve Alewife, South Acton, and Littleton stations. View the shuttle schedule

Shuttles will not serve North Station or Porter but will instead depart from and arrive at Alewife. Please note that shuttles cannot accommodate bicycles.
