Additional Drive-thru Flu Clinics Scheduled on 11/9 and 11/13

November 5, 2020

In an effort to protect people who live and work in Bedford from getting the flu, the Bedford Board of Health has scheduled two more additional flu clinics for next week:

  • Monday, November 9, 2020, 4 pm -5 pm  (Behind Town Center)
  • Friday, November 13, 2020, 11 am -12 pm  (Behind Town Center)

These flu clinics will be done via a drive-thru (in-vehicle) model under our outdoor tent.

Please wear clothing that allows for easy access to your arm for vaccine administration. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

To Register: The clinics will require on-line registration in advance of attendance at a clinic. The registration process will collect your personal and insurance information via a HIIPA compliant portal. This model for flu clinic registration and vaccine administration will help minimize contact and exchange of paper. Specific instructions will be emailed to you prior that communicate flu clinic expectations.

High Dose Flu Vaccine, Corrected: Per an update from the Board of Health at 11 am on November 5, high-dose flu vaccines are no longer available.

The flu clinics open to those who live or work in Bedford and are 6 months of age and older and are free provided that you have health insurance that we are contracted with.

Adults that have health plans such as Aetna, United Healthcare, and Tricare (just to name a few), will be required to pay a $20.00 co-pay at the time of appointment.
