Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office responded to the Bedford VA Hospital campus on Friday to investigate the report of a deceased male.
Upon arrival, the body of a 62-year-old male was located in a stairwell in Building 5. According to the Caritas Communities website, their 60-unit Bedford Veterans Quarters is located in Building 5.
The man had been last seen at the facility on May 8, 2020, and was reported missing on May 13, 2020. According to DA Ryan, the man was discovered by another resident, and found in the same clothes he was wearing when he was reported missing.
DA Ryan’s office is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances of this death.
