Today, with the help of the Bedford CERT crew, Town/School staff, and members of the Town’s Police and Fire Department, the first Bedford Food Bank was successfully launched.

Residents were incredibly appreciative of the food during this difficult time. I think I speak for all staff when I say that it was a remarkably rewarding day. Thank you to all who came out to help.

The Food Bank will continue on Fridays until further notice. For more information, please check

It’s Friday, and the weekend is a great opportunity to take a deep breath, go for a walk with your family, read a book you’ve been dying to get to, watch a television show that’s always been on your list, cook a new recipe, and remember that we’re all in this together.

Stay healthy!…(and wash your hands as often as possible.)
