Seven candidates have submitted their intent to be considered when the Bedford School Committee meets in joint session with the Selectmen at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 26, to interview and then name an interim member of the School Committee, to fill a vacancy.
Listed in alphabetic order by surname, the candidates include Eleanor Gorsey, J. Bradley Morrison, Helen Pulizzi, Paolo Sepe, Elizabeth Stringer-Keefe, Nina Tate, and Gloria Tsai. Citing the number of great candidates on the list, Paula Gilarde removed her name from consideration on Thursday morning.
The vacancy occurred after a recent resignation from the School Committee. The interim member may choose to run for election on March 14, 2020, or resign.
The selection meeting will take place in the Large Group Instruction Room on the second floor of Bedford High School.
