The Library’s Biennial is a juried exhibit of art by people who live or work in the Bedford area. Art and craft in all media are eligible. The show will be on display from Monday, November 18, 2019, to Wednesday, January 8, 2020. A reception honoring the artists will take place from 5 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 23.

This year’s juror is Bernie Toale, former owner of the Bernard Toale Gallery, Boston, and co-owner with Joe Zina of Rugg Road Papers and Prints, Somerville MA. Bernie is currently a working artist at the Harvard Ceramics Program and on the Board of Trustees of Watershed Center For The Ceramic Arts, Newcastle Maine.
Work must be original, created in the last three years, and not shown before in the Library. 2-D work must be framed and ready for hanging with wire; work with sawtooth hangers cannot be considered and limited to two entries (or a series) per person. There is no entry fee.
