The morning of February 4–luckily a warm sunny day–saw the demolition of one of the houses in the Pine Hill Crossing development, one that had long been slated for tear-down.  The roof of this home was irreparably damaged in a microburst wind storm several years ago.

Fran DeCoste, project manager, reported to The Citizen that foundation work for the new units that are going up on the site will start this month, with a timeline of June-July for construction of three or four homes.  Eventually, according to the plan, some 17 units will be built.

Meanwhile, applications are being accepted from now until April 8 for four units to be offered for sale via lottery. Sudbury Housing Trust is the Lottery Agent.

The Lottery will take place on April 25, 2019, at 7 pm in Bedford Town Hall. These are three-bedroom condominium units priced at $209,300.  Two are new construction, two are renovated.
