Tri-Town Efficiency and Regionalization Transit Study ~ Public Meetings at noon and 7 pm on Monday, November 26

Public transportation is vital to the future of our region. The towns of Bedford, Burlington, and Lexington are currently evaluating the effectiveness of the current transit services operating in the three communities. The Tri-Town Efficiency and Regionalization Transit Study is a joint effort to assess the overall mobility needs of the three towns and identify possible coordination opportunities that could enhance transit service and efficiencies through shared resources.

Community participation is vital to the success of this study. Whether you are an existing transit user or simply an interested citizen, we encourage you to attend one of the upcoming public meeting sessions to learn about potential service improvements being considered for our community.

Two public meetings will be held to present potential service improvement scenarios based on a comprehensive analysis of existing services and feedback received from riders and non-riders through surveys and at the previous round of public meetings:

Both meetings will be held in the Reed Multipurpose Room at Bedford Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way, on Monday, November 26:

  • Doors will open at 11:30 am for the presentation beginning at 12 noon.
  • Doors will open at 6:30 pm for the presentation beginning at 7 pm.

Both presentations will be identical, so feel free to join us for either one!
