Town Hall Operating Hours to Change on Monday, December 3 ~ Open House from 4 to 7 pm

To better accommodate residents and businesses looking to conduct business with the Town of Bedford, offices in the Town Hall will begin operating on the schedule identified below beginning on December 3, 2018.

  • Monday – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This new change in hours includes the Town Manager’s Office, Finance/Tax Collectors Office, Assessing Department, Code Enforcement Department, Planning Department, Town Clerk, and the Police and Fire Department administrative offices.

All other Town offices including the Department of Public Works will remain open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Hours for the Bedford Free Public Library will remain unchanged. The Library opens at 9 am every day except Sunday when it opens at 1 pm. The library closes at 9 pm (Mon-Thurs), at 6 pm (Fri), and at 5 pm (Sat-Sun).

There will be no change to  Bedford’s Police and Fire Department emergency services.

The Community is Invited to Attend an Open House at Town Hall

To kick off this change in hours, residents and businesses are invited to come and meet with Department Heads, staff, and local boards and committees at a Town Hall Open House on Monday, December 3, 2018, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

The Open House is an opportunity for residents and businesses to get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in their municipal offices, and conduct any business needed.
