By Meredith McCulloch

Early voting takes the lead in this week’s list of compelling town meetings:

Early voting will begin Monday, October 22 for the State and Federal election on November 6.  Voters will find details on early voting and obtaining absentee ballots on the Town Clerks’ website: https://www.bedfordma.gov/town-clerk

Bedford’s Arbor Resources Committee will meet Tuesday at 7:30. Among their agenda items is a report from the DPW on tree protection in upcoming projects. Sections of the tree policy will be reviewed.

On Tuesday, the Planning Board will hear a presentation on proposed bylaw changes that would allow solar panels in the Historic District under certain conditions. The bylaw will be voted on at the Special Town Meeting.

Capital Expenditures Committee is meeting at 7 PM on Wednesday night to hear the Fire and Police Departments’ 6-year Capital Projects requests.
