Doo-Wop DeVille, the nine-member ‘doo-wop’ show band whose original concert was rained out earlier this month, will perform at 7 pm on Thursday, August 16 in Bedford’s ‘Activity Complex’ located along Mudge Way, across from the Library and Bedford High School. The venue offers plenty of free parking and is located near the Tot Lot playground, athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts.
The concert, free and open to the public, will feature the hits of the ’50s and ’60s performed by 4 choreographed male singers and a 5-piece backup band, including drums, bass, keyboard, guitar, and saxophone.
Doo-Wop DeVille has performed throughout New England with performers such as the Capris, Robert Black, Vini Poncia, and The Reminisants. For Information, call 781-275-1392 or visit the band’s website https://doowopdeville.com
