A group of 9 Bedford High School students and Lincoln Laboratory employees met on Friday afternoon to pack 49 military care packages.

Contents of the care packages were donated by Bedford residents who deposited items in boxes placed in public buildings around Bedford during April and early May.

The packages will be shipped mainly to troops stationed in Afghanistan.

The packing went so quickly on Friday that the Saturday session (10am-1pm) has been canceled.

Thanks to everyone who donated supplies!
