URGENT UPDATE: Congressman Seth Moulton’s Town Hall and Bedford community vigil

Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) will hold a Town Hall meeting this evening, August 14, in the Bedford High School auditorium beginning at 7 pm.

At the close of the Town Hall meeting, Congressman Moulton will join will join Bedford clergy, Rep. Ken Gordon, and community members at a vigil of solidarity to address the events of Charlottesville, VA over the weekend.

The vigil will begin at 7:50 pm on the Town’s basketball court along Mudge Way, across from the high school

“All are welcome to light a candle, hear words of encouragement for social harmony and racial justice, and reaffirm our values as Americans that every person is created equal,” said Rev. Megan Lynes, Parish Minister at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Bedford.

The vigil is expected to last about 30 minutes.
