JGMS Boy’s basketball fought hard against Lexington’s Diamond Middle School in a loss 57-46. Diamond Middle school played a dominant three-point game that was just too much to overcome.
The game had a rough start when Bedford could not hit a shot in the first 7 minutes, spotting Lexington a 13-0 lead. Adam Legere started a comeback by making the Bucs’ first five points, including a deep shot from the corner. Matt Kazangian followed up with two three-point plays to pull the Bucs to a within 9 points of the lead by half-time.

The second half featured Lexington’s outside shooting, and Bedford’s leading rebounder Dylan DiGangi. Dylan pulled the Bucs to within 5 points with a minute-and-a-half left to play.
The game became a foul-shooting chess match, with Lexington sinking most of their shots down the stretch.
Adam Legere, Matt Kazangian, and Dylan DiGangi ended the game with 8 points each.
