On Veteran’s Day morning eight scouts from Bedford’s Boy Scout Troop114 went to the VA chapel to help Veterans who wanted to attend the service get to the chapel from their rooms.

They spent four hours helping people get around and during that time they heard some interesting stories from the Veterans. The scouts attended the service and ran the flag ceremony. The Red Sox mascot “Wally” stopped by to see everyone.

After the ceremony ended, the Veterans and scouts had a light lunch, and the scouts helped the Veterans back to their rooms. A big thanks to the scouts who helped, and to the adults who organized the event and were able to stay to assist \ the scouts.
