On Friday, September 4, 2015, a non-school day, a small group of new scouts went on a horseback trail ride excursion at Bobby’s Ranch on the Acton/Westford line.
The weather was great for a ride, and the scouts enjoyed the 45 minute ride through the ranch and surrounding woodlands. Accompanied by adult leaders,and a few family members, these scouts kicked off the scouting program year at with this fun event, with much laughter and many smiles.
In addition to the ride itself, there were several farm animals to meet, the friendly goats being the most popular with the boys.
