The library will be open and staffed on Monday, but the recent burst pipe and water damage means that the Children’s Room is under repair. Many shelves are blocked off while repairs are made, but library staff will help locate and place requests for anything that’s available at another library.
Here’s the information about library events and programs that you’ll need for the coming week:
Event and Program Updates
Despite the repairs, the summer’s big events aren’t going away! The following programs will move across the street to the Town Hall Multipurpose Room:
- Awesome Robb’s Magic Show, Thursday, July 23rd, at 3:30pm (note: the 4:30pm show has been cancelled.)
- Sciencetellers, Monday, August 3rd, at 3:30pm
- Family Music with Sarah Gardner, Tuesday, August 4th, at 10:30am
Weekly programs will also continue as scheduled in new locations:
- Library Labs, Mondays at 3:30pm, on the library lawn (weather permitting)
- Evening Stories, Mondays at 6:30pm, on the library lawn (weather permitting)
- Stories on the Lawn, Wednesdays at 10:30am, on the library lawn (weather permitting)
- Tech Take-Aparts, Thursdays at 7:00pm, in the library conference room
Please check back for more information about our Lego Program – it is a work in progress at the moment.
Summer Reading Program
And, of course, Summer Reading Bingo will continue all summer long! Keep reading and earning those Bingo coupons.
The End of Summer Bash will be on the library lawn Thursday, August 27th at 6pm. Join the library for a popsicle party, followed by the fabulous Toe Jam Puppet Band.
