A family of eight mallard ducklings is part of the entourage too, however they scatter before I can ever get close enough to snap a photo.

Residents interested in having a say in the future of Fawn Lake are invited to a meeting of the Friends of Fawn Lake on Thursday June 26th at 7:30 in the Flint Room on the second floor of the Town Center building at 12 Mudge Way.

Alethea Yates will start off the evening with a brief history of the lake. FOFL member Bill Simons will discuss the current condition of the lake, its varied uses, animal and plant diversity, suggested committees, and then we’ll have open discussion of ideas and possibilities on where go from here.
