Terry Gleason, Chair of the Bicycle Advisory Committee, announced on June 5 that a new, more detailed Minuteman Bikeway map, including points of interest and major access roads, is now available on the Minuteman Bikepath website under the “Bikeway Basics” tab. Also noted on the map are connecting, unpaved paths that extend the reach of the Minuteman, such as Bedford’s Reformatory Branch Trail from Railroad Avenue to the Concord line and the Narrow Gauge Trail from Bedford center to the Billerica line.
The new map is the result of a collaborative effort between the three primary Minuteman Bikeway towns: Bedford, Lexington and Arlington.
