Real Estate News: New Residential Development Takes Shape in Library Shrubbery

There could soon be new neighbors for Bedford Free Public Library.

Teams of young architects and contractors gathered in early July to create the new neighborhood for faeries and wee folk in the grass and under the shrubbery outside the library’s back door.

Bark and twigs along with sea shells and pinecones provide the major structural elements, with bits of yarn, beads, floss and feathery accents enhancing many of the properties.

While some of the new homes are minimalist structures providing single-level simplicity, others offer greater complexity of design and decoration.
