Light up, Bedford! The holidays are upon us!
That’s the Rotary Club of Bedford’s proclamation, as it kicks off the holiday season with Light Up Bedford—A Decoration Celebration!
And they want you to join in. Dig out those decorations from your closets, attics, and basements. Get busy and seasonally adorn your homes and businesses! From your lawns and trees, your porches and front doors, and up to your rooftops!
Decorate! Decorate! Decorate!
In the midst of the raging Pandemic, bring a bit of happy normalcy to these trying times. Show your happiness in your celebrations. Whether you’re celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, Festivus, or just hastening the New Year, let your happiness shine and share it with your neighborhood.
Even better, share it with all of Bedford! Put your home or business on the map. On December 1 the Rotary Club launches its free, live, Light Up Bedford! map and guide to highlight the decorated homes and businesses for everyone who registers to show off and share their seasonal splendor.
To register your home or business visit BedfordMARotary.org, click on “LIGHT UP BEDFORD” and fill in the registration form. Include your selection of the category you think best describes your particular “look”. Is it Terrific Traditional? Light Bright? Incredible Inflatables? Festivus? Or Other, a unique creation that only you can describe?
So, get with it, everyone! Let’s make Bedford the standout decorated town of the year!
And then…with map in-hand, habitual holiday sight-seers and parents doing kid-entertaining drive-arounds won’t need to hunt and search street-by-street to find all the fabulous decorations.
